Granero blows fuse over latest Real Madrid omission

Esteban Granero is becoming increasingly frustrated with his situation at Real Madrid.

After starting the season as an ever-present, the young midfielder has fallen off the first team map and was again frozen out for the win at Real Zaragoza.

Marca says Granero learned of his omission an hour and a half before kickoff and was visibly upset.

Real teammate Mahamadou Diarra attempted to comfort him, saying: "Hey, look at me. I've been here for a year and played six games. Hang on until the end of the season.

"Everyone will start fresh next season."

But Granero growled: "Yeah, and no-one will be injured!"

"Yeah, yeah, I know," conceded Diarra.
