Real have re-signed the midfielder from Getafe for £4 million and Granero told reporters yesterday: "Now, playing for Madrid is more beautiful than when I was first here.
"Is it more difficult? I do not know. What I am sure of is that it is a challenge, and I love big challenges.
"I've come back here to stay. I am very excited and I will take this opportunity."
He added: "My versatility is a quality that I have and it will be the coach who decides where I'll play."
