Granada coach Tony Adams says trialists Kieran Richardson and Nigel Reo-Coker will earn contracts.
However, they will have to wait until next season before signing.
The duo have been on trial with the La Liga strugglers over the past week and have both seemingly impressed enough to earn themselves a deal.
Adams told Sky Sports: “We will be offering them deals for next season.
“However, we have a cash flow situation at the moment that doesn't allow us to bring them in."
Former West Ham midfielder Reo-Coker, 32, has been plying his trade in the MLS. While Richardson, also 32, last played for Cardiff City in 2016 after spells at Aston Villa and Sunderland.
