Newcastle United chief scout Graham Carr admits he's been flying across Europe this summer seeking new players.
In a rare interview with the club's official programme, Carr has spoken on Newcastle's plans going forward.
The Geordie said: “It's all about working hard, covering plenty of matches, hoping you hit on the right player and can get him to join Newcastle.
“The timescale we watch players for varies.
“We can watch them once or twice, or for months and keep going back if you like someone.
“I tend to travel somewhere and take in games Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
“You can also add Champions League and Europa League games, so it is non-stop."
