Gracia admits Watford light on midfield options

Watford manager Javi Gracia has admitted the club do not have enough midfield options this season.

The Hornets did attempt to sign Jake Livermore near the end of the transfer window, but they were unable to secure a deal.

Gracia will now have to do the best with the players available to him, on the eve of the new Premier League season.

He is quoted as saying by Watford Observer: "In that position in this moment we have problem and we only have one player in Capoue who is fully match fit.

"Ok other players can play there but it is a position where we needed to reinforce if it is possible. As you know I do not sign players it is the club who takes that decision. I give my opinion.

"The players I have at this moment are the best and I have to be able to convince them that they are the best."
