Alan Gow hopes he gave Rangers boss Walter Smith a reminder of his quality after featuring in this week's CIS Cup win against East Fife.
"I've played a few 'bounce' games and friendlies, so it was good to play a competitive game. Of course, it's frustrating - but you just have to play when you're told to. I've played one game now, so I will just have to wait and see.
"I'm getting fitter all the time and I hope I will be involved. I'm still keeping myself fit and need to be ready. I'm probably not as fit as I was last season when I was playing every week - but I just need to make sure I'm ready when I get my chance.
"I also need to make sure I take my chances."
