Lyon striker Sidney Govou has rubbished reports linking him with a switch to Portsmouth. "Portsmouth? I don't know where that rumour came from," he told France Football.

"As I don't have any agent anymore, there are a lot of rumours. The day something will really happen, I will talk.

"PSG? I have always stated it is a club that attracts me.

"Could I leave Lyon this winter? I would like to say no, but if tomorrow a club comes and would attract me, people would call me a liar.

"You can't plan everything, above all in my situation, I have just one-and-a-half years remaining on my contract."
