Newcastle United winger Yoann Gouffran is confident of a strong finish to the season.

There is some concern at Newcastle over their table position.

But Gouffran told the Evening Chronicle: "There are enough games left to finish in a good position.

"The thing with the Premier League this season is it is very tight.

"OK, we are just above the relegation zone but there is also the chance of the top 10 or 11 just above.

"That is how tight this league is."
