Yoann Gouffran has urged Newcastle United fans not to panic after last season's struggles.

Gouffran knows what will be required this time around.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "What we really want is to make sure we start next season a lot better.

"We want to come out of the blocks well - we know what we have to do.

"We have a great team and wonderful players."
