Gosling resists West Ham, Everton interest for new Plymouth deal

Plymouth Argyle England youth international midfielder Dan Gosling has signed a new three-year deal, so putting an end to talk of a move to West Ham or Everton.

The 17-year-old, who has just returned from Korea where he helped England to the final stages of the Under-17 World Cup, will stay at Home Park until 2010.

He said: "I'm over the moon and now I have got to crack on with the football.

"Now I have to keep improving and training hard. I have got to try to cement a place in the first team. I want to be playing week in, week out."
