Newcastle United attacker Dan Gosling says he's happy to fight for his place after missing out on a move to Crystal Palace.
He captained the reserves in the 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, notching his second goal of the week following a strike at Liverpool in a private game.
Gosling told the Evening Chronicle: "I just get on with my job.
"I am employed by Newcastle United.
"It was no problem coming back, getting my head down and doing my work."
