Craig Gordon admits Sunderland are set for big highs and lows this season.
The Scotland No1 said: "There have been games when I've not had a lot to do but in the last couple of weeks I have been busier.
"I think that's just the way things are going to go - there are going to be plenty of ups and downs at this club. Hopefully at the end of the season there will have been more ups than downs.
"We'll have better days but I thought today was a better performance than the one we put on against Wigan last week."
