Gordon: No surprise Moyes, Keane, Rodgers linked with Celtic job

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has claimed that it's no surprise to see high-profile names like David Moyes, Roy Keane and Brendan Rodgers linked with the job at Celtic Park.

The Scottish champions have already announced that current manager Ronny Deila will depart at the end of the season and there are a number of top candidates in line to replace him, just as Gordon would imagine would be the case.

"All the names that have been mentioned have got, in some way, a really good pedigree or a good chance of getting the job," said Gordon of the trio who have close associations with Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool.

"It's a big club, a massive club, so it's no surprise there's big names getting talked about.

"There are a lot of good managers out there who would see Celtic as being a really big job and a good prospect of going on and dong something really special, winning trophies and being in European competitions.

"There's not that many clubs in Britain that are capable of doing that, so it's no surprise that some big names are getting linked with the job."
