Craig Gordon is excited about his move to Chivas USA after joining from Los Angeles rivals the Galaxy.

The 28-year old striker joined the Goats this week and is looking forward to continuing the LA rivalry with his former club.

"It feels good to be here," he told MLSsoccer.com. "I've always been on the other side of this rivalry and this is a different view, but it's a good one.

"I like the guys here and I like that the organization is serious about getting to the next level and I'm happy to be a part of that.

"It's a little strange to do midseason, but it's been a pretty simple transition," he added. "These guys have welcomed me; I couldn't ask for anything more. I appreciate that [and] I don't see any problems going forward."
