Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon is determined to prevent the Black Cats from exiting the Premier League. Despite his team currently lying in 17th place in the Premier League table, the Scotland international is optimistic they will not be playing Championship football next season.
"We are better off than three teams below us, so we are not in the worst position," he said.
"We roll our sleeves up and we get on with it and we fight for every single point we possibly can between now and the end of the season.
"We have got players in this dressing room who have got the experience from last year, and we are desperate to make sure that the outcome is the same this season."
