West Ham United's head of medical and sports science Stijn Vandenbroucke reveals that the duo of Manuel Lanzini and Diafra Sakho will be making a return to full fitness this month.
Lanzini and Sakho both suffered injury setbacks last month and the absence of the attacking pair has been a blow for the Hammers.
Now as a huge boost though, Vandenbroucke has revealed that both Argentine playmaker Lanzini and Senegalese striker Sakho are working their way back to a first-team return in the coming weeks.
Vandenbroucke told the club's official website: "We have more positive news with the return of Manuel Lanzini and Diafra Sakho from long-term injuries
"Lanzini is only a few days away before re-joining the team.
"Sakho is not far behind him but he needs more work because he has been out for around ten weeks so he will have a period of extra fitness work under his belt.
"We hope to see him back in action by the end of the month."
