Gooch to choose Fenerbahce over Birmingham

Standard Liege defender Oguchi Onyewu is set to choose Fenerbahce ahead of Birmingham City.

USA international Onyewu could cash in to the tune of £40,000-a-week in Turkey and will replace Diego Lugano as Fener's prime centre-half.

Gooch will come off contract at Standard at the end of this month.
