Swansea City have handed Bosman signing Bafetimbi Gomis a massive £16 million contract.
The Mirror says the big striker agreed to become a major capture for the Swans after supremo Huw Jenkins battered rivals Newcastle and Queens Park Rangers with his cheque book.
Free-agent Gomis, who went through a medical on Tuesday, quit French side Lyon at the end of his deal and talked to various clubs in England and abroad.
He opted for a four-year contract at around £80,000 a week in Wales - the biggest package the Swans have ever paid.
