Gomez pleased with Arsenal draw despite early Liverpool domination

Joe Gomez was over the moon after helping Liverpool to a third successive clean sheet on Monday night.

The Reds held Arsenal scoreless at the Emirates Stadium to secure a point on the road in what was an entertaining 0-0.

After the match, summer signing Gomez admitted he was satisfied with another shutout even though Liverpool had the chance to hit the back of the net on a number of occasions in the first half.

"We had some great chances," he said.

"To come here to the Emirates, away from home, and dominate the way we did in the first half, it was disappointing not to have put them away.

"But it was a good result in the end."

He added: "I'm enjoying it. To get our third clean sheet in a row is great for us as a back four and for Simon [Mignolet] as well."
