Fiorentina striker Mario Gomez was delighted with his brace in their Coppa Italia win over AS Roma.
Gomez has now struck four goals in two Coppa ties.
"I had a difficult moment, but it's also true that I was out injured for almost a year," he told Rai Sport.
"I needed strength to get to my best and now that I am in good shape, I have become more decisive in front of goal.
"I never doubted my quality. I want to talk about the team, though, as tonight we played a great game. In defence as in attack we showed quality and grit."
