Heurelho Gomes will not be returning to Tottenham after injury forced him to cut short his loan with Hoffenheim.
Gomes underwent surgery to have four pins inserted in his index finger. He will remain at Hoffenheim for his rehabilitation, Tottenham have confirmed.
A statement on Hoffenheim's website read: "Heurelho Gomes will play no more this season for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
