Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has urged manager Harry Redknapp not to buy a new keeper.
Gomes is faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a groin injury and says: "I want to be in the squad for Brazil and any injury is bad news for a player because you lose your rhythm and worry about someone coming in and taking your place.
"It's a complicated injury but the doctors are unable to tell me how far away I am from being fit again. I am just hoping for a quick return."
