Heurelho Gomes says he deserves to keep his No1 place at Tottenham.

Gomes put in a solid performance against Manchester United in the Carling Cup final and is confident the mistakes he made earlier in the season are a thing of the past.

"I am not making mistakes like three months ago," said the Brazilian. "I'm playing well and helping my team. He (Redknapp) has said nothing, he hasn't talked with me."
