The two Davids are confident of winning control of West Ham United.
The Mirror says David Sullivan and the Golds hope to get the keys to Upton Park this week - after showing West Ham the money.
Former Birmingham bosses Sullivan and the Gold brothers - David and Ralph - believe they are the only party to have shown 'proof of funds'.
The Essex-based businessmen have proposed a £50million deal for the club, who have massive debts of almost £100m.
And their funds are in an account ready to be transferred should West Ham's Icelandic owners and advisors Rothschild Bank accept.
Sullivan and David and Ralph Gold hope CB Holdings will now agree to a quick sale as their hard cash is on the table.
A source close to the trio said: "They have shown the money to Rothschild and a deal is waiting to be done.
"Other people can promise all they want but it is about coming up with the money.
"There are all sorts of people coming into football claiming to have this and that.
"But you only have to look at the state of Portsmouth to see not everyone is capable of fulfilling their pledges."
