Gold Coast United coach Miron Bleiberg was left sitting on the fence following his side's 0-0 draw with Perth Glory last night.
Despite being a goalless draw, the match had plenty of chances with both sides getting the scoring opportunities to clinch a win.
In that regard, Bleiberg was happy to come away with a point even though he felt his players played well enough to extract all three.
"It's one of those games that leaves you disappointed not to win, but also a bit relieved that you didn't lose 1-0 to the opposition because you see that happen often in games like this," said Bleiberg after the match.
"Perth have enough quality to have stolen a goal for themselves and we did have the odd scary moment.
"I thought we did enough to deserve the win but it wasn't to be and now the fight for second place on the ladder is going to be a hell of a fight."
