New A-League franchise Gold Coast United has launched the club's membership scheme. Football fans in the region can now show their support for the fledgling club with CEO Clive Mensink focusing on value for money and the chance for members to secure seats for bigger matches.
"Our Chairman Clive Palmer promised the local community an affordable membership scheme and that's exactly what we have delivered," Mr Mensink said.
"Our memberships represent great value and with interest in the club so high we are encouraging people to secure their seats now.
"In fact, with so many of the fourteen home games we will have in our inaugural season set to be such big occasions, the only way for supporters to guarantee their seat for all matches is by becoming a member.
"Membership also ensures there will be no last-minute or week-to-week rush for tickets and we believe we have devised a very flexible set of options.
"Whether you want to be with your family to watch the game, or sit in the 'singing areas' with your mates, we have a membership package to suit you.
"Skilled Park is a wonderful venue to watch football and will provide the very best facilities for our supporters to watch football in a way they will not have experienced on the Gold Coast before."
Adult memberships start at just $199, concessions from $140 and family (up to two adults and up to three children) from only $462. There is even an option for country-based or interstate fans to join the club. For just $70 it includes tickets for four games of the member's choice.
Fans wishing to be first through the door to secure their chosen seats for all fourteen home games should go to www.goldcoastunited.com.au and click on the 'membership' link to download the application form, or call the club on (07) 555 33 111.
