Gold Coast United striker Shane Smeltz admits he would consider listening to offers if any arose following this year's World Cup.
Smeltz is in training camp in Auckland with the New Zealand national team and is aware that plenty of people will be watching the tournament in South Africa so will be using it as a chance to put his talents on display.
He also said if any outside clubs were prepared to talk, he would be open to discussion.
"I haven't hidden the fact that if an opportunity came along that was too hard to turn down I'd be up for it," Smeltz told the Dominion Post.
"Who knows what could come from the World Cup in June or after that, I'm not sure.
"That's not my focus, my focus is just to do well. But my club understands the situation I'm in."
