Gold Coast’s Robson receives drink-driving fine

Gold Coast United’s Brazilian import Robson has been fined $700 and banned for driving for five months by the Southport Magistrates Court.

The 23-year old pleaded guilty to the offence after being caught with a blood alcohol concentration of .12 in November last year.

Along with the court penalties, Robson has been hit with a $900 fine by Football Federation Australia for breaching its code of conduct.
