Gold Coast players back Moore as Bleiberg No2
Former Rangers and Newcastle United defender Craig Moore is being linked with the assistant manager's post at Gold Coast United.
Moore is currently on a short-term playing deal in Greece with Kavala. But the 34-year-old Australia international is already a partner in the Viva Soccer Academy, headquartered on the Gold Coast, and he lives at Hope Island.
A leading United player told the Gold Coast Bulletin: "Anybody with his pedigree would be a great asset to the club. People of Craig's calibre gain instant respect from players.
"He also looks like he's got at least another year in him as a player because he knows how to marshall those around him and doesn't need to cover 100km a game."
