Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler has been satisfied with his season.

Inler says he has no regrets about his decision to leave Udinese for Napoli last summer.

"I've had a season to remember," stated the Swiss international. "I'm happy with the choice I made in coming here."

The 27-year-old has played in 42 games for the Azzurri across all competitions so far this term, scoring two goals in Europe in the process.

"It's not easy to go and play in the Champions League and leave a good impression," added the midfielder.

"We, as a team, took on some great clubs and that is the best that can happen for us footballers."
