Dorin Goian's agent has made it clear that the defender will remain with Rangers no matter which division they play in next season.
The Glasgow club will today find out which competition they will compete in next term after being dumped from the Scottish Premier League for financial misdemeanours but Goian's agent Florin Manea says his client will stay regardless of whether it's the First Division or lower.
"We have told manager Ally McCoist and owner Charles Green he's staying with the club," Manea told the Daily Record.
"We will hold more discussions when we know what league Rangers will play in next season.
"But we've communicated to Rangers he wants to stay and help the club to get promoted back to the top division.
"This week we received more offers from clubs. There has even been talk of a Romanian club trying to buy him but that won't happen.
"Dorin took a 75 per cent reduction in salary but I can confirm he was paid his full wages again in June."
