The Romania international has seen a move to Sunderland fall through after they failed to agree terms with his club Steaua Bucharest.

"It was disappointing for Dorin that the deal with Sunderland fell through," the players agent Peter Harrison told skysports.com.

"But we are still talking to a number of interested clubs.

"We are very hopeful he will still be moving to England and we hope something can be concluded in the next week or so."
