Gael Clichy was full of praise for Manchester City's young players in the wake of Wednesday night's win at Swansea City.
The likes of Aleix Garcia, who scored his first City goal, Angelino, Brahim Diaz and Tosin Adarabioyo all featured in City's 2-1 win in the third round of the EFL Cup which prompted a positive response from Clichy who netted his side's opener.
"It was a good night for everybody including the young players and everyone is happy now," the Frenchman told mancity.com.
"The academy provides some good players like we've seen tonight.
"It was nice to see the young players and it's good for the fans to see the future of the club."
City's victory sees them drawn against neighbours Manchester United in the fourth round of the league cup, which will take place at Old Trafford in the week commencing October 24.
