Manchester United's Community Shield clash with Wigan Athletic today will feature the debut of goal-line technology.
Goal-line technology will be used in a competitive match in England for the first time today when Manchester United take on Wigan in the Community Shield at Wembley.
The camera-based Goal Decision System (GDS), developed by British firm Hawk-Eye, will be used at every top-flight ground in the 2013-14 Premier League season.
