New York Red Bulls midfielder Mehdi Ballouchy insists he is happy to play just any role as long as he can contribute to the MLS club producing positive performances.
The 28-year old Moroccan came off the bench to score the leveler in injury time against Houston Dynamo on Saturday night and admits it was nice just to assist the Red Bulls in gaining a vital point away from home.
He also said it was great to score a goal which has been the subject of some work on the training pitch.
"My job was to make a beeline to the post, and that's what I did,'' said Ballouchy. "It's huge. It's something we have been working on, and I think coming out of set pieces we have been unlucky, and I think we are just lucky to score off one.
"I've been coming in and playing a lot of different positions hoping for us to do well and win the (Supporters') Shield and MLS Cup. If that means me playing a smaller role and playing different positions for us to win, then that's what it takes."
