Glazers unsure of attending Man Utd Cup final

The Glazers are weighing up whether to attend Manchester United's Carling Cup final against Aston Villa at Wembley.

The Times says the United owners have not attended a match since issuing a controversial 322-page bond prospectus last month, which prompted supporters' groups to launch the "Green and Gold" campaign with which they aim to wrestle control of the club away from the Americans.

With the exception of the 2005 FA Cup Final against Arsenal, the Glazers have attended every final involving United since their takeover almost five years ago, but three members of the family - Joel, Avram and Bryan - will wait before deciding whether to make a flying visit to London.

Security fears surrounding trips to Manchester have heightened, but they are understood to be more comfortable about visiting London.
