Borussia Monchengladbach striker Luuk de Jong is aware of interest from Newcastle United.
Newcastle are in talks with Gladbach about an initial loan deal for the Dutchman.
"I can only say that some clubs have inquired. I'm completely focused on training. But there is obviously still much to be done until January 31 ...," said De Jong.
The striker was given just 11 seconds in Gladbach's last game.
"That wasn't nice," De Jong recalled.
