Borussia Mönchengladbach have made a new offer to Chelsea for Andreas Christensen.
The Dane is coming up to the end of his two-year loan in Germany and is expected back in London for the start of preseason.
Gladbach chief Max Eberl still has hopes of keeping Christensen and Rheinische Post says he's proposed a new offer to Chelsea.
Like their previous deal for ex-Blue Thorgan Hazard, Eberl has suggested a buy-back option included in the permanent transfer.
Gladbach's cash offer would be over €20 million - a club record. However, it's still expected Christensen will return to Chelsea this summer.
