A move to Borussia Monchengladbach for Manchester United striker Joshua King is yet to be rubberstamped.
Monchengladbach are keen to bring in the forward on a season-long loan, but admit concerns over his long-term fitness.
"We have to see how long it will take him to recover after this operation and whether it makes sense to borrow him," Borussia sporting director Max Eberl told the club's official website.
"Our medical department is in contact with the doctors of Manchester United and from the information they give us it will ultimately depend on whether the transfer will occur or not."
