Gael Givet has made it vehemently clear that he did not refuse to play for Blackburn Rovers last weekend.
The Frenchman was left out of Steve Kean's matchday squad for the 3-0 loss at Swansea City with the Rovers boss telling reporters he was not in the 'right frame of mind' but Givet has rubbished those claims.
"It was the manager Steve Kean who decided which players would be selected.""I wish to make it clear that I have never refused to play for Blackburn Rovers," he said.
