Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given admits he's eyeing a January move away.
Given was linked with Liverpool over the summer.
He told the Daily Mail: "Most professionals you speak to want to play football but I really can't do anything about the situation I am in, there is no magic wand or words that can say. I have had to take it on the chin, try to be positive in my head and hope something comes along in January.
"But I don't know what is going to happen. There was not much movement of keepers in the summer, other than Mignolet going to Liverpool and Reina joining Napoli on loan.
"Very few clubs do their business in January and if they do the goalkeeper is hardly number one priority. They usually go out and get a defender, then a midfielder and might sign a striker. If there's anything left they might look at the keeper situation, and I understand that.
"If it was me I would start the other way and look at the keepers first. And then sign me!"
