Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given is refusing to lose faith in manager Alex McLeish.
The West Midlands club are now just three points clear of the drop zone following the weekend's derby draw at West Bromwich Albion but Given will not give up on fighting for survival for his beleaguered boss.
"But we have got to take responsibility ourselves, players and staff alike.
"Does McLeish still have dressing room support? Yes of course he does, he's a fantastic manager and we're all right behind him but we'd obviously like results to be better this season.""Every manager in the Premier League's job is on the line but obviously we're under a bit of pressure and Alex is under a bit of pressure," said Given.
Villa have two matches left to beat the drop with a home game against Tottenham on Sunday followed by a trip to Norwich City the week after.
