Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez was received warmly by fans in last night's reserve-team win over Bolton Wanderers.
He scored in the 51st minute, stealing in front of his marker to fire City's equaliser in a 3-1 win.
Perhaps just as important was the positive reaction from a predominantly City crowd of 1,047, who cheered Tevez at the start and again when he was substituted by Roberto Mancini's son Filippo in the 66th minute.
Having earlier given his shirt to a fan at half-time, he apologised for not stopping to sign autographs as he left the pitch.
