Ludovic Giuly says AS Monaco want to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes. Giuly played for both clubs during his career.
"He has been with Barca since he was young. He wants to experience something calmer, with less pressure. He needs to find something new, and I know that Monaco contacted him directly several times already," Giuly told Bein Sport.
"He also spoke to me about it. We have discussed it, and he is glad that they have been in contact (with him). I do not know what decision he will take, but there has been contact.
"I would be delighted to see him in Monaco."
