Ludovic Giuly has revealed fellow Frenchman Karim Benzema wants to play in Spain.

The Lyon striker has been linked with Barcelona and their former midfielder Giuly said: "I know he would like to play in Spain.

"If Samuel Eto'o wasn't there, then I think Barca would sign him, because he is a phenomenon. It all may depend on whether Eto'o signs a new contract."
