Roma signing Ludovic Giuly is delighted to have completed his switch from Barcelona.

Giuly joined Roma last night for an initial fee of £2.1 million, which will rise to £2.75 million depending on appearances and success. The Frenchman's three-year contract will net him a cool £6.25 million.

"I am very happy for having signed for Roma. In Barcelona I leave very important memories, but now I am here to win," said Giuly.

"[Francesco] Totti? He is a great player and it will be a pleasure to play with him."
