Giulianelli: The Juventus defensive duo Conte wants at Chelsea; Maksimovic at Man Utd?

It's not a secret anymore: I've been writing about this for a long time, Antonio Conte will be the new Chelsea manager starting from the end of Euro 2016 in France.

And it's not a secret that he's been working on the 'new' Chelsea for some months.

The first name on his list is a centre-back, the one who has, in Conte's plans, to take the place of the eternal John Terry: the name is one loyal to the Italian coach, Leonardo Bonucci.

Born in 1987, Bonucci arrived at Juventus in 2010, coming from the Bari wonders of Giampiero Ventura and has become, step by step, the undisputed leader of the defensive line of the Bianconeri. For the moment, he has won four Scudetti, three Italian Super Cups, one Coppa Italia and disputed the Champions League final last year; with Italy's national team he has collected 53 caps, scoring three goals and wearing even the captain's armband on more than one occasion.

The second name from Juventus that Conte wants with him at Chelsea is the Swiss right back Stephan Lichtsteiner, born in 1984 and a former Lazio player. He has 79 caps with Switzerland and has been a Juventus player since 2011.

Juventus has already pinpointed his potential substitute in Sime Vrsaljko, a Croatian player now at Sassuolo, one of the teams who enjoy an excellent relationship with the Agnelli family's club.

MAKSIMOVIC STILL ON AGENDAS OF UNITED AND NAPOLI

Nikola Maksimovic's future still rests between Napoli and Manchester United. There's been no step forward over these few days.

The Red Devils are more focused on closing a deal over their new managerial appointment. Jose Mourinho is almost sure of becoming the heir to Louis van Gaal, but in some media there is the rumored name of Laurent Blanc.

Don't believe it: Mou will be at Old Trafford.
