Giulianelli: Pep's Man City real deal; Pogba will struggle with price-tag; Bendtner rejected in Italy

Pep Guardiola has won the first clash of the Titans in this new Premier League season.

The win against Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United - 2-1 - has revealed to us two important things about Manchester City and the possible evolution of the league:

1. Guardiola has already shown he can give to his team his own style, to mark them with his signature. At this point, Manchester City already seem to have played this way for the past 10 years.

2. Manchester City want clearly to win the Premier League this season.

And what about United? Mourinho has bet on more experienced players and I am sure Zlatan Ibrahimovic will never disappoint him.

But can I say that Paul Pogba, up to now, has been really an illusion?

Ok, I've said it. This Mr £100 million, his label will become a bigger and bigger weight to carry on his shoulders.

LEICESTER'S COLLAPSE

What's happened to Leicester City?

Well, I was an easy prophet, telling you that Leicester would find themselves with big problems this season. Riyad Mahrez is the ghost of the fantastic player we all admired last season and only Jamie Vardy seems to have the right motivation.

"The very hard job facing mister Ranieri will be to motivate a team that managed such an incredible achievement last season.

WELCOME BACK NICKLAS

And for the end, welcome back to England to Mr Nicklas Bendtner - and greetings to Nottingham Forest.

Forest have decided to bet again on a player who I can tell you a lot of Italian clubs have refused to take.
