Giulianelli: Klopp calls Paratici about Liverpool move; Chelsea fancy Conte; Leeds and Cellino

KLOPP IN CONTACT WITH JUVENTUS MASTERMIND

Another column, another news wrap about Jurgen Klopp and his new Liverpool: his plans for a Reds Revolution are going on and on; his eyes, as mentioned before, are on Italy.

During his period of forced holidays - after the end of his time with Borussia Dortmund - he studied closely the Juventus model: and he is thinking about engaging one of the masterminds of the project that took the club from Turin to the Champions League final last season - Fabio Paratici.

Klopp has phoned Paratici to ask him about his availability to join the new project: he has in mind to give Paratici the keys to the transfer market: if Fabio accepts, it would be inevitable that the new Liverpool will buy Italian players. The first name most likely would be, in that case, more and more Domenico Berardi, already a Juventus target.

Juventus has already said 'no' to Tottenham for Paratici; but the Reds allure could push the Italian director to ask them to let him join this new adventure.

CHELSEA TO GO ITALIAN TO REPLACE MOURINHO

Jose Mourinho continues to move further away from Chelsea: the elimination from the Capital One Cup at the hands of Stoke City seems to have put the definitive signature at the end of any chance of seeing the Special One on the Blues bench next season. And Chelsea too could decide to go Italian.

Antonio Conte, the national team coach, is the first name on the list for Roman Abramovich's squad.

My opinion? Mourinho has on his hands a failing team, players without motivation: Conte doesn't have a wand. The problem is not on the bench, but in the squad: changing the ruler without changing players, without investing heavily in the market would be worthless.

DARMIAN A SOLID SOLUTION FOR MAN UTD

Matteo Darmian is one of the big wonders of the Premier League season: Manchester United seem to have found the heir to Gary Neville on the right side of defence. The Italian defender has all the skills to do better and better, the Red Devils fans are already falling in love with him and learning to appreciate his dedication and commitment to his new jersey.

ROMA LOOK TITLE CONTENDERS

Some words about Serie A: after the difficult start of the season, AS Roma seem to have found their right layout to win Scudetto after 15 years. Gervinho is a new born player, Alessandro Florenzi is one of the most in-form players in European football, showing day by day new skills and personality. Miralem Pjanic has finally found his dimension and is becoming the real top player of this team: and we are still waiting for Edin Dzeko's goals. The former Manchester City striker is playing in a different way, involving himself more in the construction of the play.

DON'T ASK ME ABOUT CELLINO

The last sentence is dedicated to Leeds United fans. Don't ask me what Massimo Cellino will do: he is more than unpredictable. Even to himself.
