Giulianelli: EXCLUSIVE - Man Utd push Bale for Jan; Bonucci WANTS Chelsea; Balotelli to Southampton

The January transfer window has just begun and apart from the known and already completed moves, I want to start with some exclusive news that I've kept in store for my dear Tribal Football readers...

MAN UTD BACK JOSE FOR JANUARY BALE DEAL

Spending £300 million is not enough to compete with Manchester City, has recently declared Jose Mourinho, shocking all the world with his words (as so often happens).

It's not a secret that Gareth Bale is a target of Manchester United and that they are talking about a return to the Premier League next summer for the Welsh winger of Real Madrid.

The big news is that Red Devils, under the pressure of Mourinho, are trying to convince Real Madrid to sell Bale in the January window. The deal is on, United are strong of will in order to satisfy Mourinho.

CONTE SEEKS BONUCCI REUNION - AND HE'S HAPPY

Three days ago, Antonio Conte ruled out a move for Giorgio Chiellini in the January transfer window; the words of the Chelsea manager had been: “Giorgio is a good player but he'll want to finish his career at Juventus. It's right to finish his career in this way".

It's not a secret that Conte would have welcomed with open arms the former defender of his winning Juventus and Italian national team to prop up a defensive line that needs to be bolstered.

But, starting from this name, we can arrive immediately to the new target of Chelsea: who was the partner (together with Andrea Barzagli) of Chiellini during the years of Conte at Juventus and on the Italian bench. I'm talking of Leonardo Bonucci who arrived at AC Milan with the armband of captain, but is having a bad season together with all the club; and he would take into consideration the opportunity of going back to his favourite manager.

BALOTELLI TO SOUTHAMPTON?

Some short news for the Premier League transfer window: there have been rumors about Mario Balotelli to Southampton.

“Mario leaving? No, that's impossible. You know his importance. It's unimaginable" has told Nice president Jean-Pierre Riviere recently. Watch this space.

EMRE CAN SETTLES JUVE TERMS

Emre Can, who seemed very close to joining Juventus, will remain at Liverpool for January, but he is very close to reaching a deal with the Italian club for June, when he will be a free agent.

The deal will be for five years at €5 million for season.
